All around amazing!

Honestly, I do my research. Tons and tons of research. So much so that my husband finds it a little disturbing :) I knew from my time at cross fit gyms and other places that use rowers in their workout line up that I enjoyed it and felt like I got a great, full body workout so I began the search. I was settled upon deciding between a couple different rowers out there, one that focused on a gaming style and one that focused on more of a personal class and rowing with someone on a screen. I thought I had my mind made up honestly, until I came across the Aviron. I didn’t like the idea of only having the option to stare at an instructor. I also didn’t like only having the gaming aspect and Aviron truly is the best of both worlds. The quality of this rower is second to none and you can tell a ton of amazing thought process has gone into not only the design, but the programming! Andy and all of the folks over at Aviron have not only been super helpful, but kind and have made me feel a part of a family that I know I wouldn’t have gotten had I purchased a rower elsewhere. Bonus points here for the sleek design! I keep mine in my guest bedroom and gym space, but would have been perfectly fine had I needed to keep it out in a more noticeable location because it actually looks nice! In all honesty, if you’re on the fence about what piece of gym equipment to get for your home, just know rowing is FULL BODY and you will use muscles you either didn’t know you had or forgot were there! The classes include everything from a fun game of zombie chasing, a nice, scenic row or my personal favorites, climbing some mountains and getting in a full body workout that includes hopping off your rower! I know I made the right decision and now more than ever, having a safe space to workout in the comfort of your own home is really special and it’s not something I take for granted. I think we can all agree, having your health is one of life’s top priorities and I’m happy to have the help of Aviron with that!

The first piece of equipment to buy if setting up a home gym

I have used several rowers in gyms over the years. I have seen several different models that could not hold up to the gym activity. The Aviron kept on ticking like a timex watch. They also have one of the smoothest and quietest mechanisms on the market. I bought the home version because of the way it folds up to a small footprint that is easily moveable. Even on carpet. It has the same mechanism and electronics as the professional model. I have no regrets in buying the Aviron. The staff at Aviron is extremely responsive which also means a lot to me.

Love it!!

I received my Aviron a week ago and am absolutely loving it! My husband put it together by himself and didn't have any issues. The games are a lot of fun. My favorite part is rowing through different countries. Keeps me engaged and makes me want to keep going. I did contact customer support to get assistance with the subscription and the person who helped me was so nice and personable. Overall a great experience.

I love this machine

My husband gave me the gift of an Aviron rower for Christmas in 2019. I had seen and used one at a local YMCA in the fall. I had previously used a Concept 2 rower at a different YMCA. I would play the dart game on the Concept 2 for about 20 minutes at a time after spin classes because I wanted a more complete body workout. Playing a game kept me rowing. When I saw the interactive Aviron rower, I was blown away. The sheer number of game options, rowing classes and virtual rowing trips offered on the Aviron made my decision easy when I had to decide which brand to buy. I am very glad I purchased the Aviron rower. It arrived well packaged and was easy to assemble...even for a non-mechanical person. The rowing action is smooth. Other users at the Y commented that they preferred the Aviron because it was smoother than the other rowers. I have found that having interaction with the touch screen and programs on the Aviron keeps me engaged and rowing far longer than if I were just rowing for an ordinary workout. My children and grandchildren use it when they come to visit. In short - I love this machine. I suspect it will help keep me fit for all my other activities well in the future.

Writing this from my rower

I have had so much fun and so much of a workout from my Aviron. I am literally covered in sweat right now, sitting on my machine, as I just finished a 30 minute workout. I needed something to reinvigorate my exercise routine badly and researched a lot of different types of equipment. Despite having pushy friends nagging at me like seagulls to join them in their interactive stationary bike universe, I chose to follow my own path and purchase a rower. There are many out there that look great but I ultimately landed on the Aviron Active because the programs were very unique compared to many others out there and the gamification really motivates me. It was scary when I clicked purchase, but everything has been fantastic since. The equipment arrived in just a week, it was easy to build and I was using it 50 minutes after unboxing. I am already feeling muscles tone up after a short amount of time using it and gaining more stamina. I dont normally look towards others for motivation, but if you do, the community is very active and encouraging. I look forward to using my rower every day and its easy to pop on it anytime I have 10 minutes and still feel like I'm getting a big workout. You will love this rower!

Awesome machine

I do not provide reviews. But this is the best home rower money can buy. With the current world situation going on like most people I wanted to find ways to stay in stay in shape at home. I was never a rowing machine fan and never really looked into one but my wife convinced me. This is not the same old rower at the gym. The games, programs and virtual places make it the best rowing machine my wife and I have ever used. If you are looking at getting a rowing machine seriously look at this one. It is awesome!
